Asia Beer Championship

Supporting the growing premium beer culture across Asia, the Asia Beer Championship is an awards programme run by the industry for the industry. The annual competition provides a trusted quality benchmark for consumers as well as independent feedback for the region's brewers.

The 2025 Asia Beer Championship & Asia Cider Championship will be judged in Singapore on 24th & 25th September with the results announced at Brew Asia in Bangkok on the 17th October.

Who Can Enter?

From Jordan to Japan, the Asia Beer Championship is open for entry to any beer brewed commercially within Asia.

32 Competition Categories

Producers can enter any of the 32 different beer style categories selected for this year's competition based on their popularity around the region.

Gold, Silver & Bronze Awards

The top 3 beers in each category will be awarded Gold, Silver & Bronze certificates respectively. All beers that reach a pre-determined quality level will receive a "Chairman's Selection" accolade.

Champion Trophies

Champion Trophies will be awarded in the following categories:

- Most Successful Brewpub/Small/Medium/Large size breweries in the competition

- Most successful breweries from each nation entering (Champion National Brewery)

- Champion Beer of Asia

- Champion Beers in the following categories: Wheat Beer, Lager, Pale Ale, Stout & IPA

International Standard Judging

The Asia Beer Championship Judging Panel will consist of professionally trained international brewers and qualified beer judges. Judges will be recording their scores & comments digitally on the Beer Awards Platform to ensure comprehensive and timely return of judges notes.

Expert Feedback

Benefit from independent expert feedback - the judges tasting notes for all entries will be returned to brewers to aid in the development of their recipes & processes.

International Recognition

A list of winners will be released international media publications and online industry and consumer platforms.

Awards Logo

Gold, Silver, Bronze & Chairman's Selection winners will be provided with Asia Beer Championship 2025 digital logo's to promote their success in the competition.

What is the Cost to Register?

The entry cost is US$100 per beer plus 6 x 330ml bottles/cans for judging samples. Bottles must be shipped (duty paid) to the competition organizers in Singapore by Friday 29th August - they will remain in cold storage until judging takes place.
